Oren Remi (formerly known as Alex Haley) is a lifelong musician, multi-instrumentalist, and seasoned audio engineer now focused on composing cinematic music for film, television, and video games. After spending nearly a decade as an in-demand recording, mixing, and mastering engineer in New York City—working on a wide range of projects alongside Grammy-winning artists and engineers—he has brought his deep musicality and production experience into the world of media composition. A guitarist and performer for most of his life, Oren also draws from a diverse palette of instruments, including world instruments such as the oud and bansuri, using them in unexpected ways to create atmosphere, tension, and emotional depth. Blending cinematic scope with eclectic influences and unconventional textures, his music is defined by a distinctive sound that brings mood, character, and surprising twists to every score and cue.
